[Week 15 - 2021] Trades Recap and Trade Setups

Hey Traders,

April continues to be the month of prosperity for the stock indices as S&P and Dow closed off the week at a record high again. However small caps and Nasdaq continues it's struggle.

Next week would kick start earning reports and a few economic highlight such as the AUD unemployment rate, US Retails sales.

Dollar Index (DXY)

We talked about price falling back into support region at 92.0 after the breakout. We now look out for any reversal confirmation to determine whether the dollar will continues it's upside or a false break out.

Spot Gold (XAU/USD)

Price met minor resistance are at 1750 and got rejected. More upside movement when 1750 region is breached or we may continue to see price trade sideways between 1680 and 1750.

Long opportunity: Break and retest of 0.7695 region towards 0.7830.

Short opportunity: Break and retest of 0.7591 region towards 0.7490.

EUR/GBP (Analysis 15-2)

Long opportunity: Break and retest confirmation at 0.86815 region towards 0.87335.

EUR/CAD (Analysis 15-3)

Long opportunity: Break and retest confirmation at 1.4994 region towards 1.50695.

Short opportunity: Break and retest confirmation at 1.49107 region towards 1.48095.


Relatively slow week but we might we looking at more confirmation in the coming week.
